This past weekend, the Yardbird Team was posted up at Taste of Hong Kong 2017. It was our second time participating in this epic food festival and this year’s event was one for the books. Besides being able to spend time with our good friend Chef Nick Kim of Shuko, we got to see a lot of familiar and new faces. The weather wasn’t always ideal, but we had a lot of chicken soup to get us through (did you try the special seasoning?). We also won a couple of awards, including best-dressed restaurant booth and second runner-up for the best dish of the festival. To top it all off, we ended the festival with the first annual Taste of Hong Kong presented by Standard Charted St. Patricks Day Hot Wing Eating Contest! Big thanks to the Taste team and to everyone who came out to support.
