One of the best things about the summer is arguably the long, lazy evenings with warm weather and a cold drink in hand. And at Yardbird, our favorite drink for this time of year is the Jolly Rancher – a refreshing and fruity cocktail made with watermelon juice and shochu. It goes down easily and its fresh and sweet flavor will have you drinking the Jolly Rancher all summer long.

INGREDIENTS

60 ml Tantakatan Shiso Shochu

30 ml Sengetsu Kawabe Shochu

80 gr Watermelon

Lemon Juice from 2 Wedges

Dash of Sugar

METHOD

  1. Combine all ingredients into a blending cup and blend with a hand mixer
  2. Transfer liquid into a shaker cup and shake hard
  3. Fill a Hario 300 mL glass with ice and strain the liquid into the glass
