Having worked at The Peninsula New York, Jean-Georges, Nobu Miami, and Hong Kong’s JW Marriott and Cé La Vi (to name just a few), Jason Licker has made a name for himself as one of the world’s top pastry chefs. He even took home the gold on Iron Chef Thailand! These experiences both in and outside of Asia inspired Jason to write his first book, Lickerland, which he self-published in 2016.


Jason is known for combining Asian ingredients with classic French pastry techniques to create unique and mouthwatering desserts, including matcha tarts, banana and dulce de leche harumaki, and cherry yuzu s’mores! His methods, recipes, and stories can all be found in Lickerland, which was nominated for a coveted James Beard Award!
