On Sunday, May 6th, as part of the second annual Los Angeles Times Food Bowl (the biggest food festival in LA’s history), Chef Matt Abergel and Chef Dan Hong (of Mr. Wong & Ms. G’s in Sydney) will be joining Chef Louis Tikaram of E.P. & L.P. for a very special dining event! The three chefs will be collaborating on a 7-course meal that’s inspired by the Asian countries and cuisines that have had the greatest influence on them and their cooking. Tickets are $85 USD per person, exclusive of tax and service charge, and include a complimentary Chang beer on arrival!
This year’s Food Bowl brings together Los Angeles’ best bars, cafes, hotels, markets, restaurants, as well as some of the world’s top chefs. The LA Times will be hosting and curating dining events, panel discussions, and volunteer projects that celebrate the city’s diverse culinary scene. The festival will also promote conversations about and raise money to combat food waste, hunger, and food insecurity. The Food Bowl has partnered with several charitable organizations that focus on reclaiming discarded food and feeding the homeless and needy, including L.A. Kitchen, Food Forward, and Midnight Mission.
