Earlier this month, we made our way to Los Angeles to participate in the Los Angeles Times Food Bowl! Part of the festival included a special dining event at E.P. & L.P. with Chef Louis Tikaram and Chef Dan Hong of Ms. G’s and Mr. Wong in Sydney. Matt, Louis, and Dan created a seven-course Asian-inspired menu that included dishes like Raw Shrimp with Turmeric, Chile Guero, Mint, and Nahm Jim; Lobster Dumplings with Strange Flavor Sauce and Szechuan Chili Oil; and RONIN‘s Cuttlefish Tempura with Uni and Fresh Wasabi, and Quail Karaage with Sansho Pepper and Orange.
